Costa Adeje golf course is a short 5 kms drive from Playa de Las Americas and has been built on the site of an old Banana Plantation. The venue for the Canaries Spanish Open in 2003 and another Pepe Gancedo design, Gancedo has made very good use of the existing terrain as well as adding over 50,000 square metres of dry stone walls creating a stepped plateau on which the main fairways have then been laid. The greens are relatively large and have been strategically placed to maximise full use of the terrain and have fantastic views across the course and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Buggies are Compulsory prior to 09:30 am (payable locally).
